A Convention Day Tradition

Celebrating Our Graduates

Each year, IANA proudly hosts the Dugsi and Machad graduation ceremony as part of the Minnesota Convention. It’s a chance for masjids and Islamic institutions across the Twin Cities — united under IANA — to recognize students who have completed their Quran memorization or Islamic studies coursework, in front of the entire community.

Graduates from every participating institution are welcomed to the stage together, reflecting the strength of a community that learns and grows as one.

Open to graduates from Dugsi (Quran school) and Machad (Islamic institute) programs alike.

Ready to Register?

Register Your Graduate

Teachers and families from any masjid or Islamic institution under IANA are invited to register their graduating students for a moment on stage at this year’s convention.

For each student, we’ll ask for their age, whether they’re graduating from Dugsi or Machad, their institution and teacher’s name, and whether they’d like a cap and gown for the ceremony.
