About the Competition
A Tradition of Quranic Excellence
The IANA Minnesota Quran Competition has been a cornerstone of the convention for years — a beloved opportunity for young Muslims to demonstrate their devotion to the Book of Allah before their community.
Participants are judged on the accuracy of their memorization, the quality of their tajweed (recitation rules), and the fluency of their delivery. Prizes are awarded across all categories.
- Registration fee: $25 per participant
- Participants compete in their selected Juz category
- Age restrictions apply to the 1–10 Juz divisions
- Prelims: July 15 · Finals: September 6 (Convention Day)
